Stress Zone
When we allow stress to creep into
our lives, it takes over. We sacrifice our health and happiness.
It robes us of our sleep, ability to think straight and it becomes
a common part in our life.
It is months; even years before we even start to see the affects
of stress on us. We are all potential
candidates to stress.
Here are a few things I use in
safe guarding myself from having stress creep into my world.
- Everyday no matter how bad the
days has been I will sit still if only for 15 minutes to enjoy
one or more of the following:
- Burn scented candles
- Sit in my hammock and stare at
the sky
- Sit by a burning fireplace
- Listen to water running from my
portable fountain
- Lock my bathroom door and take
a warm bath
- Sit by the ocean or any body of
water
By allowing myself to become up lifted
and my mind to wander aimlessly, I release the stress that tried
to creep into my soul. Once relaxed, I can be a better person
to myself, my family and to individuals
who enter and exit my space daily.
