Urban Fitness Connection, Inc. was founded in 1997 as a direct result of recognizing the importance of health, fitness and mental well being in improving the lives of women of color. The founder's personal mission is to inspire and motivate women to take charge of their lives spiritually, economically and physically, and ultimately to be happy, healthy and fit. This mission transcends Urban Fitness Connection and is the foundation on which the company is built - namely, to become the leading health & fitness education source for women of color, and to provide women focused sports, fitness and entertainment to companies an organizations.
